We just love filming weddings at the Sanderling Resort in Duck, North Carolina. With Alicia Tonione running the show, Matt Lusk snapping amazing pics and DJ Matt Cooper setting the pace, the day was perfect for Jade and John to make it official. Cheers to another great wedding and couple at the Sanderling.
Duck NC Wedding
Lauren and Brian traveled from Miami, to meet up with friends and family, and have their dream wedding at the Sanderling Resort. The weather was beautiful for a wedding with blue skies and a gorgeous sunset. Debbie Norris coordinated the wedding to perfection with DJ Matt Cooper setting the tone. Another incredible wedding in Duck, NC.
Betsy and Charlie traveled all the way to the Outer Banks from Minnesota for their intimate Sanderling Resort wedding. Betsy and the girls began with pampering at the Sanderling Salon & Spa as Charlie and the guys began getting ready for the ceremony. Renee Landry Events created stunning decor for the ceremony which included a custom bar backdrop, arbor, and various other pieces. The ceremony staging was provided by Metro Rentals. Music for the ceremony was put on by Carl with Coastal Dj & Video. This ceremony was slightly different than any other one we've ever filmed at the Sanderling. As it opened with Betsy and Charlie's friend Dan lead the readings...the rain began to arrive. What started as a few sprinkles turned into a full on down pour! Betsy and Charlie being the troopers they are stood fast through the storm with guests and wedding party taking shelter under umbrellas. We were able to relocate our cameras between speeches under a nearby balcony for the completion of the ceremony and still get amazing footage. Once the storm had passed the couple began their photo series with the amazingly talented Genevieve Stewart Photography. Genevieve and Chad are both amazing to work with and go above and beyond to get artistic photos throughout the day! As we entered the reception, we were blown away by the amazing decor and floral arrangements by Renee Landry Events. The beautiful farm tables Renee provided went great with the ghost chairs that Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals had to offer. All of the decor with the white dance floor provided by the Sanderling really tied the room together for a one of a kind reception look. As guests mingled on the rear boardwalk they were greeted by a Fly Over Message pulled by Jenny Hawk with OBX Air Planes. Debbie with the Sanderling did an AMAZING job running the show and making sure all of the events went as planned! As the evening progressed, guests enjoyed dancing the night away with this lovely couple. We wish Betsy and Charlie all the best, enjoy their Sanderling Resort wedding trailer below!!

Comanche and Benjamin's Sanderling Resort wedding is one to really take a look at! The couple resides in New York City and decided on a quite intimate location, what more perfect than the Sanderling. We greeted the couple earlier in the day as they began to get ready for one of the biggest moments of their lives. Hair and makeup serves were provided by the Spa at Sanderling. We loved the handwritten notes that they exchanged with each other just before they walked down the aisle. Dororthy and her team from Bells and Whistles created a clean, elegant look for this seaside ceremony on the event lawn. The couple's good friend Antony lead them through their vows as they committed their lives together. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn while Club Violin continued playing beautiful classics. Genevieve and Chad with Genevieve Stewart Photography were a blast to work with for the day, these two are amazing at what they do and it really shows in the photographs. Once cocktail hour was complete, we made our way over to the Pavilion at the Sanderling where the resorts catering staff had dinner well underway. Rocking the pavilion one song after another was the very talented Matt Cooper with Outer Banks Music Masters, Matt is a great DJ and an all around awesome guy! What amazing wedding isn't complete without an amazing cake? Well, Melinda with Just Desserts created a work of art that the guests raved about from the first to the last bite! Pulling everything together and making sure the show ran smoothly the entire day was Alicia Tonione the Event Planner/Coordinator for Sanderling Resort. We enjoyed everything about this incredible wedding!
This beautiful wedding was also featured on Style Me Pretty!!

Tiffany and David decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony and reception at The Grande Ritz Palm in Duck, North Carolina. Marie Russell with Bordeaux Events helped the couple throughout the planning process and created a perfect day that they will remember forever. Before Tiffany walked down the aisle her makeup and hair were done by Dimensions Hair Salon. Leading the ceremony was Dr. Dave Keller with Outer Banks Seaside Ceremonies, Dave always puts a personal touch on each ceremony that he performs. One Love Caribbean Steel Drum Band opened and closed the ceremony with some beautiful music to get the guests into a tropical mood. Following the ceremony Argyle's Catering met the bridal party and their family on the beach/sound access of the home with platted appetizers and drinks. Argyle's also made the beautiful cake you will see towards the end of the video. Snapping photos and making everyone feel comfortable in front of the lens was Rich Coleman with ColemanShots. Rich and his guys really go above and beyond to get great shots throughout the day! Sugar Snaps Events did all of the floral decor for the wedding and it looked amazing with the lighting provided by Renee Landry Events. All rentals for the event were provided by Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. Coastal DJ & Video got the party started and kept the music pumping throughout the evening. We really enjoyed filming Tiffany and David's wedding, be sure to check out their wedding trailer below!

Dana & Craig are from Northern, Virginia and decided to have their wedding at The Grand Ritz Palm located in the Town of Duck. Duck NC weddings are special due to the fact that on one side you have the beautiful Currituck Sound and on the other the vast Atlantic Ocean. Dana and Craig opted to have their ceremony on the beach just across the street from the reception location. The weather couldn't have been any more perfect for a beach ceremony! Rev. Jay Bowman did a fantastic job officiating the ceremony as he always does. We especially loved his "beach-people" comment, too funny!! Heather Clark with A Premiere Event went above and beyond making sure that everything went exactly as the bride and groom had imagined it. We always have fun working with new photographers and Ashley Peterson was a true blast to shoot alongside with. Be sure to check out Ashley's beautiful blog post here that she did for the couple. We enjoyed everything about this wedding and wish Dana and Craig the very best!

We had the best time at The Sanderling Resort for Mary & Matt's beautiful wedding. The weather couldn't have been any more perfect as the couple exchanged vows oceanside on the resorts' lawn. Helping them along the way with their vows was Rev. Brad Bradshaw who did a fantastic job with the ceremony. Debbie Norris and her staff did a remarkable job with the steady flow of the event by making sure everything went according to plan. As you'll notice in the wedding trailer below, this wedding was packed with details! Dorothy and her team with Bells & Whistles created some truly stunning floral arrangements, from the bouquets to the elegant centerpieces that filled the tables. Another really neat element was the hanging chandelier created by Bells & Whistles. As the night went on guests enjoyed the photo booth provided by Shutter Booth. Shutter Booth also provided an album for guests to leave a photo in for the bride and groom with a special note, such a great idea! Snapping shots along the way was the super-taleneted Matt Lusk. Matt brings his fun personality to weddings and is always a real blast to work with! Blue Steel Lighting and Design did it once again, John and his crew worked hard to make sure everything at this event was lit perfectly! Did we mention the beautifully-blue cupcakes made by Great Cakes, they were AMAZING!! Uplighting and pin spot lighting adds such a unique look to any reception venue and makes it so much fun to film! Matching beats with the changing light patterns was DJ Bruce who kept everyone out on the dance floor all night long!
Well without further ado, lets roll Mary & Matt's wedding trailer!

Adrianne and Liam are from Northern Virginia and decided to escape the busy city and head south for their intimate Sanderling Resort wedding. The weather the day of was a little iffy and forced the ceremony to take place inside the pavilion. Debbie Norris and her staff did a fantastic job with the coordination and all of the little details to make the pavilion look incredible! After the ceremony the weather broke long enough to let us take them out for some footage while we worked alongside Julie Dreelin. Julie captured some beautiful photos from the day and was a blast to work with as always! As the night progressed DJ Bruce with "I Do" Entertainment and DJ Service kept the party alive as everyone danced the night away. Congratulations once more to such a fun couple, we really enjoyed working with you both! Check out the wedding trailer we made below:
