The Muller wedding at Festival Park in Manteo, North Carolina was a dream come true. The ceremony was held on a beautiful day over looking the Roanoke Sound. Family and friends then partied the night away on the outdoor pavilion with Coastal DJ. We loved working along side Kristi McKeag Photography and as always, Basnight's catering was amazing. Take a peek at this Festival Park wedding video trailer highlight!!
Manteo NC Wedding
The David wedding was an epic affair at the beautiful Pirate's Cove Marina Pavilion. The newlyweds tied the knot on the pier with Father Harmon while friends and family looked on.
We captured the day with Amanda Hedgepeth Photography and partied the night away with Matt from Outer Banks Music Masters. The wedding was planned perfectly by the amazing Ashley Earnhardt from Southern Hospitality Weddings.
Another gorgeous Outer Banks wedding video! Take a peek!!
The Smith wedding ceremony was held at the Roanoke Island Presbyterian Church in Manteo. After the newlyweds tied the knot and had some gorgeous photos taken on the church lawn, they proceeded to 108 Budleigh downtown for their reception. Avery and Will snuck off to Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse to grab some sunset pictures with Kristi Midgette Photography before making their grand entrance to the dance floor. DJ John Harper kept the party rolling and Engaging Events coordinated a beautiful January wedding. Take a look!!
Jamie and Brian Martin were this year's Dream Wedding winners, and everything came together wonderfully to make their big day as memorable as could be. After getting ready at the Tranquil House Inn, Jamie and Brian met on the docks of the Manteo waterfront for a first-look while the wedding party watched from the rooms upstairs! We shot alongside Courtney Hathaway Photography for some fun moments with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, before the party took a trolley to the ceremony site on the beach in Nags Head. I Do OBX Chairs had an awesome arbor set up for the couple to exchange vows under, in a ceremony led by Tony Joseph. After the big kiss, everyone headed back to Manteo to 108 Budleigh for one awesome party. PROBX DJ played the tunes, and Blue Steel Lighting had the site looking spectacular inside and out. Jamie and Brian cut the cake, and everyone danced all night...while wearing ridiculous props provided by 10 Fish Photo Booth. We also tested out a "bullet-time" effect during the evening! Everything was perfectly coordinated by Heather Events. We loved working with Jamie and Brian, and all the vendors who did an awesome job on this big day! Check out the highlights!
Roanoke Island provided an amazing setting for Cristina and Michael's big day. Their wedding ceremony was held overlooking the sound at the gorgeous and historic Elizabethan Gardens. We loved working alongside Matt Lusk photography to capture moments with the couple, surrounded by the beauty of the gardens. After the ceremony, guests headed over to 108 Budleigh for the party, where the couple arrived to in a classic Packard motor car! The Mashup played live music all night and kept everyone dancing. The day was perfectly coordinated by Engaging Events.
Check out the highlights below!
108 Budleigh was the perfect place for Amanda and Dillon to tie the knot. The beautiful Manteo waterfront made for a stunning backdrop on their wedding day. After Tony from I Do OBX Weddings announced their marriage, the party moved to the reception room where Engaging Events & DJ Matt Cooper coordinated a fun night. The couple snuck away to have sunset pictures with Macon Photography and we captured some amazing aerial video. Check it out!
Brittany and Ryan know how to have a good time and their wedding was no different. Their Festival Park wedding was held on a gorgeous Outer Banks day with a beautiful view of the Roanoke Sound. Brittany and her bridesmaids got ready at the Tranquil House Inn in Downtown Manteo, NC. After putting on her stunning wedding dress she and her crew walked to the park for the ceremony. Once the couple tied the knot, friends and family partied the night away on the stage. The wedding was coordinated by the amazing Engaging Events. Matt Lusk photography snapped the photos while Matt Cooper played the tunes. Food was served by Dawn's Kitchen and the crowd loved every minute of the evening. Check out the trailer!
Recently Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals and Corolla Classic Vacations teamed up to create a cinematic story about wedding season. We were happy to film and edit a piece that showcased not only them but all of the Outer Banks and the amazing sites and vendors we have. Check it out!
Elyse and Chris's Pirates Cove Pavilion Wedding is one that we were so glad to be a part of! We started the day out on Sailfish Drive in Pirates Cove where Elyse and the girls were getting ready. The beautiful waterfront views that Pirates Cove offers are perfect backgrounds for video and photos. As we finished up with the girls, we made our way over to Mount Olivet UMC in Manteo where Chris and his groomsmen began to arrive. Mount Olivet's historic sanctuary was the perfect ceremony location for Elyse and Chris's ceremony. As the ceremony closed, family and wedding party photos began with the ever-talented photographer, Matt Lusk. Once we left the church, we made our way to Downtown Manteo which also provided a beautiful background for video footage. After finishing up downtown we made our way over to the expansive Pirates Cove Pavilion. We love filming in the Pavilion with the beautifully lit ceiling feature the pavilion offers. Also having a reception literally right on the water doesn't get any more beautiful! The guests really enjoyed the amazing meal created by chefs Johanna and Justin Lachine of Cafe Lachine. If you've heard him on 99.1 The Sound you already know he's the man, DJ John Harper did a phenomenal job keeping guests on the dance floor and the music pumping into the wee-hours! We had the best time with Elyse and Chris and hope you enjoy their Pirates Cove Pavilion Wedding trailer below!

Caroline and Paul are from Charlotte, but decided against a typical Charlotte wedding, instead they opted for a beautiful Elizabethan Garden wedding. The wedding day couldn't have flowed any more smoothly, Courtenay with Carolina Wedding Design worked closely with Dorothy from Bells and Whistles to give this couple the ultimate fairy tale wedding they had always wanted. The best part about the gardens is the pure intimacy of the ceremony location with the lush garden foliage. Reverend Tanya Young conducted the ceremony and did a wonderful job as always! 2014 was the year of some amazing bands, and Love Tribe certainly didn't fall short of that mark! There funky style added a great vibe throughout the evening and into the late night! We wish this awesome couple wall of the happiness in the world, we loved filming their perfect day.

Manteo is a great little town on Roanoke Island that is the perfect little getaway. This is exactly what Ariel and Dennis had in mind when they planned their 108 Budleigh wedding! We started the day in Nags Head where both Ariel and Dennis prepared for their beachside ceremony. Although it was a little gray and misty, Tony Joesph's ceremony went smoothly as they exchanged vows and began their lives together. The elegant decor for both ceremony and reception sites was created by the fabulous team at Renee Landry Events. Photographing this beautiful couple throughout the day was Julie Dreelin with Beach-Productions. We did several weddings with Julie this year and always have fun working alongside of her! Keeping the party going throughout the night was the one and only Matt Cooper of Outer Banks Music Masters.
Well with out further delay, please enjoy Ariel and Dennis's 108 Budleigh wedding below!

Carrie and Gerald's Elizabethan Gardens wedding is one that we will forever remember! We started the day out by meeting this awesome couple in Nags Head at separate locations where they were getting ready. Once everyone was ready, we all hopped onto the OBX Trolley and made our way to the gardens. The first thing to notice at this wedding was the incredible ceremony decor created by Renee Landry Events who also created the beautiful bouquets. The elegant ceremony was conducted by Rev. Jay Bowman who led the couple through their vows. Once the ceremony was completed, we worked alongside Ryan and Hayley with Coastal Shots. These two were a blast to work with and captured amazing photographs throughout the day! Once we left the gardens we made our way to the Kitty Hawk Pier to kick off the reception. DJ Chez with GS Productions rocked the pier house along with Wrenn Mangum who may have been one of the best Elvis Presley impersonators we've ever seen!! The beautiful cake was provided by Carolina Cupcakery. He added a really cool element to this reception! Another great detail was the super fun Photo Booth provides by OBX Photo Booths, guys just loved this!! Making sure that everything flowed smoothly for both the ceremony and reception was Karen Kelly with Coastal Events Coordinators. Karen is always fun to work with and really goes the extra mile to make sure that everything happens exactly the way the couple dreamed it to be.
A big congrats once again to Carrie and Gerald! Thank you so much for choosing Reel Love Weddings for your Outer Banks wedding videography!
Now sit back and enjoy the trailer below :)

Hard to tell that Sarah and Jonny's Festival Park Wedding happened right after a hurricane with how gorgeous the weather was for them! The sun shining down on Festival Park made a beautiful atmosphere right on the water for the ceremony and reception, as well as some great lighting for Matt Lusk's photo-shoots with the wedding party. With event coordination by Engaging Events and floral arrangements by Bells and Whistles, the Festival Park Amphitheater became the perfect stage for much of the action of the day. The dinner on the lawn was catered by Black Pelican, and Carolina Cupcakery made a great display of cupcakes for the guests. Dancing went on late into the night, fueled by the music of Cheap Thrills. Everyone at this wedding had an amazing time, and we loved being there to capture it! Now check out the Harris' wedding highlight video below!

Megan and Michael decided to have a North Carolina Aquarium wedding on Roanoke Island. This was the first time that we have filmed a wedding at the Aquarium's new dock and the weather couldn't have been any more perfect for an outdoor ceremony! The day started out at It's Royalty in Manteo where Megan and all of her bride's maids were getting hair and makeup done. From here we left to head to the Aquarium to meet Michael and his groomsmen for pre-ceremony footage. Upon our arrival I DO OBX Chairs was setting up the chairs in preparation for the ceremony. Ocean Atlantic Rentals was also at the Aquarium setting up rentals inside for the reception. Bells and Whistles did a fantastic job with the bridal parties flowers and arrangements. The ceremony opened with beautiful music from Club Violin that was heard all the way down the dock as the bride made her grand entrance. Rev. Jay Bowman did an incredible job as always leading the ceremony as the couple exchanged vows over the Croatan Sound. After the ceremony we worked with the wedding party and bride and groom along side Outer Banks wedding photographer Rich Coleman of ColemanShots. Rich and his team are always such a blast to work with and had us all laughing throughout the day! The chef and catering staff at Black Pelican created some incredible dishes and were super friendly to work with. What would great food be with out a fabulous cake, that's exactly what Just Desserts created! As the reception got pumping, Matt Cooper with Outer Banks Music Masters kept the music going and the guests on the dance floor. Leading the show for the entire day was Beth Pallett with Engaging Events, Beth is a rockstar and made sure everything went exactly as the bridge and groom had envisioned! We had such a great time working with Megan and Michael for their North Carolina Aquarium wedding and we wish them all the best in the future! Check out their wedding day trailer below!
