The Smith wedding ceremony was held at the Roanoke Island Presbyterian Church in Manteo. After the newlyweds tied the knot and had some gorgeous photos taken on the church lawn, they proceeded to 108 Budleigh downtown for their reception. Avery and Will snuck off to Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse to grab some sunset pictures with Kristi Midgette Photography before making their grand entrance to the dance floor. DJ John Harper kept the party rolling and Engaging Events coordinated a beautiful January wedding. Take a look!!

Reel Love Weddings captured plenty of love and laughter from the Delano wedding at the Sanderling Resort. We could tell early on from their gorgeous "first look" that they were head over heels for each other. We enjoyed working with Neil GT Photography, as always, as we captured all of the details. Reverend Jay Bowman held a beautiful ceremony. It was great to see DJ Bruce keeping the party rolling too! Take a look!!
The Noon wedding at the Twiddy Wild Horse Event House in Carova, NC had everything a fairytale day had to offer. We would be hard pressed to find a bride and groom more in love then this fun couple. The Outer Banks weather that day made for epic scenery and Glam & Lace coordinated the wedding perfectly. Matt Lusk captured stunning photography and DJ Andy Lawrenson made the reception one to remember. Take a look!!
Amiee and Steven's wedding day spanned the Outer Banks on a gorgeous August day . They had a beautiful ceremony, held at the Our Lady of the Seas church in Buxton and then they took a trolly ride to their reception at the Kitty Hawk Pier, with a quick stop for photos at Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. There were energetic entrances , heartfelt speeches, and then the couple's epic choreographed first dance stole the show. Genevieve Stewart Photography and Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment , along with the Hilton staff , were great to work with as always! Take a peek!!
As a busy professional videography company we rarely get the chance to produce videos just for us. I was an actor way before I ever picked up a camera and we, Chris and I, often joke about making comedic videos in our spare time. So we did.
The Currituck Club is another fantastic venue that the Outer Banks has to offer. The club features a beautiful golf course, expansive sound front views, and elegant clubhouse. When choosing a location, Meghan and Ben decided that a Currituck Club wedding would be perfect for their day! Once the couple was ready we made our way over to the Club for a first look on the sound front that was truly amazing! We worked closely with photographer Ryan of Coastal Shots for all of the bridal party footage/pictures. After leaving the sound we made our way over to the Historic Corolla Chapel for the ceremony. Guests arrived to the ceremony location via the Corolla Trolley. Pastor Jim Southern did a wonderful job with the ceremony as well as leading Meghan and Ben through their heartfelt wedding vows. After the ceremony we made our way back over to the Currituck Club for the reception festivities. DJ John Harper did a wonderful job keeping the party lively as guests annihilated the dance floor! The best part about weddings at the Currituck Club, Ashley Earnhardt and her wonderful staff! This crew of extremely talented people did a phenomenal job with all of the details throughout the day and made sure that everything was perfect for the couple. We want to wish Meghan & Benjamin the very best!

Cerice and Keith's Ramada Plaza Wedding was certainly one for the books! This incredible couple traveled all the way from Oneonta, New York for their Outer Banks wedding. The day started with Cerice and the girls getting ready at the Ramada on one floor while Keith and the guys did the same on an alternate floor. Once everyone was ready, this lovely couple made their way down the aisle with Reverend Tanya Young of Outer Banks Wedding Ministries. Once the couple said I do, the formal photos began with Ryan of Coastal Shots Photography. All bouquets were created by the incredibly-talented Shelley with Honeysuckle Events. We wish Cerice and Keith the very best for years to come, thanks for choosing Reel Love Weddings for your Outer Banks wedding videography!

The Reel Love Weddings team kicked wedding season off this year with Toki and Tim's Persian graced Black Stallion Wedding in Corolla, NC. This wedding was certainly one for the books! We arrived early to gather some preparation shots as Nancy Harvey with Holiday House Wedding was adding her finishing touches on the indoor ceremony site. The great part about the newly built Black Stallion wedding/event home that Twiddy offers is the expansive levels of the home, which were perfect for the couples guest count. As Toki got ready in the elaborate pool house/honey moon suite, Alicia Arranz and Kelly Ives with Lovie's Salon and Spa took care of all hair and makeup needs for the bride. As the ceremony began, Ebi Homaifar lead Toki and Tim and all of their guests through a Persian ceremony. Molly Miller with A Barefoot Wedding, pronounced the couple husband and wife at the close of the ceremony. Following the ceremony the couple did a Dove release from When Doves Fly. Persian DJ Dariush got the party pumping as guests enjoyed cocktail hour around the event space. Along with the always-amazing food by Cafe Lachine, Toki's mother who is the owner of Pomegranate Kitchen created the tastiest Persian dishes we've ever had! All reception rentals were provided by the awesome crew at Ocean Atlantic Rentals. Throughout the day we really enjoyed working along side the talented George and Dionne, otherwise known as George Porter Photography. Connecting all of the details together for a seamless and stress free day was Kerri and her team from The Proper Setting. Kerri is always a real treat to work with and we look forward to more weddings with her this season! As the evening winded down, guests made their way back to their hotels safely with transportation provided by Corolla Trolley.

Lauren and Tyler's Koru Village wedding is one we will remember for years to come. This couple has a real passion for each other which showed in the 10 years they spent together before exchanging vows. We started our day out by filming Lauren and her bridesmaids and Tyler and his groomsmen getting ready in separate locations at the Beach Klub. Koru Village Spa took care of all makeup/hair details for Lauren and her girls. Once everyone was ready, we made our way to Our Lady of the Seas Catholic church located in Buxton. After the beautiful ceremony was complete, Mary and Mac with Mary Basnight Photography continued with photos for the family and wedding party. Mary and Mac are a real treat to work with, we enjoyed shooting alongside them throughout the day. Once we arrived at the Koru Village wedding pavilion we were greeted by the beautiful draping and lighting that Renee Landry Events provided. Renee and her team also created Lauren's exquisite bouquet and all of the boutonni res. The gorgeous arrangements on the tables as well as in the church were created by Lauren's talented mother, Arlene. As guests gathered around the pool for cocktail hour, they were serenaded by the One Love Caribbean Steel Drum Band. These guys are awesome at what they do!! All rentals for the event were provided by Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals who went above and beyond to provide top-notch service. Once guests arrived at their tables and dinner began, Gwen Hart and her team with Enchanted Cuisine started rolling out beautiful dishes one after another. As dinner ended and the party kicked off, Karl with Coastal DJ made sure that everyone was out on the dance floor throughout the evening. We wish this couple the very best for years to come!

Caroline and Paul are from Charlotte, but decided against a typical Charlotte wedding, instead they opted for a beautiful Elizabethan Garden wedding. The wedding day couldn't have flowed any more smoothly, Courtenay with Carolina Wedding Design worked closely with Dorothy from Bells and Whistles to give this couple the ultimate fairy tale wedding they had always wanted. The best part about the gardens is the pure intimacy of the ceremony location with the lush garden foliage. Reverend Tanya Young conducted the ceremony and did a wonderful job as always! 2014 was the year of some amazing bands, and Love Tribe certainly didn't fall short of that mark! There funky style added a great vibe throughout the evening and into the late night! We wish this awesome couple wall of the happiness in the world, we loved filming their perfect day.

Dana & Craig are from Northern, Virginia and decided to have their wedding at The Grand Ritz Palm located in the Town of Duck. Duck NC weddings are special due to the fact that on one side you have the beautiful Currituck Sound and on the other the vast Atlantic Ocean. Dana and Craig opted to have their ceremony on the beach just across the street from the reception location. The weather couldn't have been any more perfect for a beach ceremony! Rev. Jay Bowman did a fantastic job officiating the ceremony as he always does. We especially loved his "beach-people" comment, too funny!! Heather Clark with A Premiere Event went above and beyond making sure that everything went exactly as the bride and groom had imagined it. We always have fun working with new photographers and Ashley Peterson was a true blast to shoot alongside with. Be sure to check out Ashley's beautiful blog post here that she did for the couple. We enjoyed everything about this wedding and wish Dana and Craig the very best!

Shooting Wedding Videos on the Beach What You Need to KnowWhen you specialize in shooting incredible wedding videos in a popular destination like the Outer Banks, knowing the ins and outs of shooting at the beach really comes in handy. Every location comes attached to a collection of special considerations, but the beach is a unique animal all its own. Let s take a closer look at what you need to know in order to shoot great Outer Banks beach weddings.
Protection for Your EquipmentThose of us in the photo and video industry are big on standards. We take our product seriously and most of us have made quite the investment in our equipment. That said, it s important to see to it that it s protected from sand, mist, and the elements. Deciding to have plenty of large plastic bags or tarps on hand could be the best decision you ever made! You can throw them over your expensive gear when the wind kicks up or if it s unexpectedly damp the day of your shoot.
Special Audio IssuesEven the mildest day at the beach is typically pretty windy. This can naturally present some unique issues when it comes to audio. People who shoot Outer Banks beach weddings always have extra wireless microphones on hand and make it a point to mike up all of the speakers to cut down on the wind noise blocking out any one person. Also, invest in wind screening covers for your mikes to help reduce noise. Don t have anything fancy on hand yet? Try covering larger mikes with pantyhose to help take the edge off wind interference.
Here at Baldwin Video Productions, we really know Outer Banks beach weddings and can guarantee you the quality keepsake videos you deserve. Let us put your Outer Banks wedding package together today!
How Color and Detail in Your Wedding Scheme Can Really Add to Your Wedding VideographyMany people go to great pains in order to ensure that they have the right wedding videographer for the job and with good reason. Your wedding videography is going to be your way of traveling back in time to that special day and reliving it whenever you want. It will also be a legacy that you pass down to your children and grandchildren so that they will also be able to share your greatest moment with you into the future.
It s true that a videographer with a terrific eye is an important part of your memories. However, the look and visual appeal of your wedding video can be improved even further by your choice of wedding themes, colors, and details. Some options show up better in HD than others!
Choose Vibrant Color CombinationsWhether you re planning your own color scheme or working with a wedding coordinator to put together a theme that really pops, selecting a color combination that works well together can really make your video sing. Weddings don t have to be just white, ivory, and beige. Try making the traditional neutrals pop with accents in complementary colors or shades reminiscent of the season. You ll love how they look on TV.
Details Can Really Make a PictureMany brides choose to add unusual or personal details to their wedding theme in order to not only set their ceremony apart, but to add visual appeal to the scene and contribute to the building of a mood. Details like these can also make videos come out terrific as well. Try adding unusual, but classic touches to wedding party outfits like parasols or gloves. Themed d cor that features lots of thoughtful touches can help set a scene as well.
Let us help you make the perfect memories by giving your carefully selected wedding theme the Outer Banks wedding videography treatment it deserves.
